downs before ups

This week was a quite hard week for me.
I had a little accident on Monday and after that my cold came back and I’m still sniffing and coughing now. It’s been more than 2 weeks like this and it’s very unusual for me who’s almost never get sick. Quite busy at work and the work is always behind the schedule. I wanted to catch up on it, but it was hard. My brain and body weren't responding as much as I wanted them to be. Working for long hours but not accomplishing anything.
As for personal life, I also had a little bump. I got into a situation that I didn’t want to be. I felt bad, guilty for hurting people which I could’ve avoided maybe... I hope I’m learning something from it.
Well, I will get some rest this weekend and get energy back. Life has always ups and downs. If you are down, you go up next. Lucky at least I’m positive :)

Hey! We are all on pins and needles anxiously awaiting news about whether your weekend rest has led to a new upward swing in the eternal up-down cycle of existence!

Yeah! That previous commenter is right! We have all been on the edge of our seats so long that the circulation in our legs is interrupted, so we have to pace restlessly back and forth remembering stories of those tsunami victims and their leg injuries.... how is your crippled leg and cold!?

Ah! Yuki's leg is crippled!? From the photo it looked like just a couple of superficial scratches! Are you kidding or serious??

I heard that her leg had turned orange and that she was limping around while wincing and moaning!

At 10:18 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Eh? Orange?? You must mean black and blue, right??

At 10:18 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

No... orange!

At 10:23 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Orange? wow... well, maybe she can rename her blog "GangreneTangerine"?

At 10:25 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hey! Shut up! That's in poor taste, particularly while Yuki's incommunicado and we're all in suspense waiting with bated breath for an information update from Yuki!

At 10:27 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Sorry... OK, How about "OrangeTangerine"?

At 10:29 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Er... "orange" and "tangerine" don't rhyme...

At 10:33 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

What's the basis for this "orange leg" rumor anyway?? That photo generally has an orange tint, so even the floorboards look a bit orangy. That's just Yuki's photographic esthetic--designers always like two tweak things with Photoshop. I would be very surprised if her leg turned orange, as it's not a typical color that legs become after traffic accidents, I think.

Wait... it's starting to make sense. Crissy recommended vitamin B, and Yuki maybe's been getting a lot of vitamin D from carrots! that would explain the color of the leg.

At 10:37 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Er.... carrots have vitamin A.

At 10:39 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Maybe she's using orange-colored disinfectant.

I once had a friend who tried that cheap sunless tanning cream, and it turned her a strange orange color for a while.

Hey! Yuki's not the type to use that kind of stuff. She's a naturalist in most ways, and she doesn't like inexpensive things, so she wouldn't use cheap tanning cream.

Hey, don't play with my site :P ... Are you going to cheer me up :-?

My leg is alright. I thought it was a simple scratch, but it turned out to be a burn. I guess I touched the exhaust pipe without noticing it.
I went to a skin doctor today and she scared me by saying, the burn with the exhaust pipe is somehow hard to get cured and some people just left them and had to plant skin from their asses at the end.. And she was pointing my burn with a sharp tweezers and told me “these yellowish part is the dead tissues and these are preventing from the new skin to come out. We have to get rid of them. But it will hurt so bad!!!” ... Oh no! I thought she was going to start removing the dead tissues... But she gave me some medicine to help dissolve the bad tissues and told me to come back on Friday. If the medicine doesn’t work, I need to go to a bigger hospital to remove them. Ouch!

Chrissy > Thanks! 我小心啊!Chrissyも身体に気をつけて :)

我听说由纪的脚差不多好啦! 新鲜的皮肤急速的生长而医生说那皮肤很漂亮,将来由纪变老时,很可能那片皮肤是她的最年轻的地方!
